Testing the Maker

So we ordered our cricut maker 4! We earned half our goal with sales and decided to take the plunge vs waiting until we had the whole amount -too antsy to make new products!! We did save by buying a certified refurbished one which is also greener than buying new.

It arrived yesterday and so far I've got it unboxed, connected and calibrated. I uploaded files and tested a few puzzles on cardstock. So far cutting great, faster and easier than the joy extra. The one's I had issues with I think was the file setup not the cutter. Will have to play more. I'm trying to do initial testing with cheaper and plentiful materials before I plunge into the magnet paper and such. I do need to test thicker materials and try out the knife blade too. Will keep you posted...
